Open Letter to London Mayoral Election Candidates 2016

London Mayoral Candidates
This open letter has been emailed 22/02/2016 to all the candidates listed on Wikipedia.
Dear London Mayoral Elections Candidate,
I am writing to all the candidates standing in the London Mayoral Elections 2016 to be the next Mayor of London to ask the following questions.
(1) If elected what will you do to tackle hate crime in the capital?
(2) And how will you work with communities affected by hate crime?
Under the current administration the Mayor’s Office Policing and Crime MOPAC launched A Hate Crime Reduction Strategy for London (Dec 2014).
This included action 2 – “MOPAC will work with partners to develop a London-wide hate crime awareness campaign leading up to Hate Crime Awareness Week 2015
(3) Will you as Mayor of London continue to develop the concept of an annual London Hate Crime Awareness Campaign leading up to a National Hate Crime Awareness Week in October?
(4) Does your campaign have a hate crime policy? if so could you send me a copy.
I am planning to publish the replies from all candidates via 17-24-30’s social media on the 21st March 2016.

Yours in good faith,
Mark Healey (Founder/Trustee/Chair) info
