The aim of the London Hate Crime Reporting Card is simple – to direct people to report hate crime to the police in the first instance. However if they don’t want to speak to the police then speak to their local borough council, and if not to their local borough council to the independent advice and support organisations which we will list on this blog.
The basic concept is to get sponsorship to produce thousands of these cards printed using Vistaprint. The cards will then be distributed by volunteers at a variety of community focused events throughout the year.
The cards are double sided, one side dedicated to the hate crime reporting message, the other side which can be used to promote the cards sponsors.
The other side of the new batch of cards promote 17-24-30’s contact details via an about.me which signposts people to the London Hate Crime Blog.
These are going to be handed out various events across London through out the year. We are looking for more organisations to sponsor this hate crime reporting campaign.
